Live Sessions is a collection of original pieces recorded throughout the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023. Each track except one was fully improvised and recorded in a single take during livestreams on Twitch. 

 

"Where you cannot go" is one of my all-time favorite improvisations. Listening back the night of recording, I was struck by how much the music came from beyond myself. The name refers to the concept of ineffable creativity which I can neither produce through my own efforts nor destroy.

"Memories of eden" relates to the idea of grappling with both the beauty of a memory while feeling profoundly cut off from the experience. The song's recurring and sudden transitions between major and minor modes are meant to reflect this internal struggle.
