This class is the first in a series exploring how we experience and create meaning in music. In this session we dive into topics such as the nature of sound, the overtone series, frequency relationships, harmony and dissonance, and how to begin expressing emotions and ideas through music.

The class runs approximately 90 minutes and includes theory deep-dives, group discussion, and workshop exercises. Musicians & non-musicians are welcome!
